Behind the News Rookie Report by Eliza - watch and learn about dyslexia.

Dyslexia is a very common learning difference and several other people in your school and maybe even others in your class, or in your family are likely to have dyslexia. In fact, there is likely to be more than 7,500 kids in Tasmania with dyslexia!

Dyslexia is just a big word to explain why some people find it hard to learn to read, write and spell. Everyone is different. It is something that happens – like having fair hair, freckles or blue eyes.

We all have different strengths and weaknesses.  Reading and spelling might be hard, but everyone finds some things harder than others.

Don't forget, you're awesome!

Isley Hermansen wrote to Richard Branson to bring attention to dyslexia and this is her video highlighting all the famous people with dyslexia.

Did you know that James Rallison of the Odd1sOut has dyslexia...he shares some of his experiences in this "My Horibal Spelling" video...
